A Little League sign recently posted online and at the baseball park was a reminder to parents who take the games a bit too seriously to relax.
The Pleasanton Little League’s sign told parents that “It’s just a game” and “The officials are humans.”
The photo, posted on Imgur last week, has gone viral with over two million views.
Many shared comments on the sign, though they did not all agree on its message.
“It’s sad that this is necessary,” said one comment. “Every parent needs these reminders before each game,” read another.
“Just please tell me they actually keep score and don’t hand out participation trophies after each game,” wrote one user, while many others commented, “I thought this was America.”
