On the first day of President Obama’s trip to Cuba, the controversy surrounding the excursion multiplied as a picture of Obama posing with a mural of Marxist revolutionist Che Guevara recently surfaced.

Twitter users are blasting Obama for proudly posing with Cuban officials in the shadow of the Marxist icon who plotted to bomb the U.S. on Thanksgiving day in 1962, as documented by columnist Humberto Fontova.
Here is a glimpse of the outrage fueled by dunce Obama’s photo:
This writes itself. President Obama visits communist Cuba and poses in front of a tribute to Che Guevara, who killed hundreds of gays.

Today, in Cuba. To be fair, Obama’s probably been saluting images of the blood-soaked Che Guevara his whole life. pic.twitter.com/5d0nWF8lJJ

Sadly, Obama’s photo-op in front of a Che Guevara mural is only offensive to those who actually know history. In other words, not many.

Holy Week is a good time to remind everyone Che Guevara was a butcher, and personally oversaw the slaughter of Cuba’s Catholics.

In the 60s, Che Guevara killed thousands of innocent people, even children. In 2016, the President takes this photo. https://t.co/NUYEaZlOnz
