Republican presidential contender Donald Trump poked fun at New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in the governor’s presence at an Ohio rally Monday.
Christie endorsed Trump late last month after suspending his own presidential campaign.
The Manhattan businessman began by mocking a rival, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, as an absentee office holder.
“Your governor is absentee,” Trump told supporters. “He goes to New Hampshire, he’s living in New Hampshire.”
He then turned his attention and pointed to Christie who (unfortunately) was off camera.
“Where’s Chris? Is Chris around? Even more than Chris Christie he was there, right?” Trump jabbed. “I hated to do it but I had to make my point,” he said.
