Oscars’ MOST revealing moment: Watch how crowd treats conservative Stacey Dash, minority outreach director

The reaction on the faces of elite Hollywood said it all when Oscars host Chris Rock brought Fox News contributor Stacey Dash onto the stage at the 88th Annual Academy Awards.

The audience thought Rock was joking when he introduced the conservative actress as the new director for the Academy’s “minority outreach program,” but suddenly there she was.

“I can not wait to help my people out. Happy Black History Month!” Dash said with a giggle.

Dash was an odd choice, considering she was highly critical of calls to boycott the Academy Awards, calling the effort “ludicrous” in an appearance on “Fox & Friends” last month.

“We have to make up our minds,” she said. “Either we want to have segregation or integration and if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard.”

A very pregnant Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen offered a cringe face for all times when the conservative actress appeared on stage Sunday night.

Not that Dash didn’t expect such reactions, as she made clear in a comment posted online.

“When they added ME to increase the diversity, I’m sure many black people rolled their eyes,” she wrote of the unexpected moment. “I’m not ‘black enough,’ they say. But guess what? I’ve heard that all my life. I would rather be a free thinking, black than a cookie cutter black who thinks – and votes – just like all my friends.”

Rock would post a photo of himself with Dash later on Instagram:
