Here’s how Eva Longoria will make sure black actors aren’t the only fake victims on Oscar night

Americans tuning in to the Oscars on Sunday night can expect to be assaulted with wave after wave of racially divisive moral indignation from wealthy Tinsel Town social justice warriors.

As ridiculous as that notion is.

While there’s plenty of speculation about what host Chris Rock may do — the comedian is obligated to do something — to show solidarity with meg-rich actor Will Smith and others boycotting the 88th Academy Awards over a perceived “lack of diversity,” actress Eva Longoria announced that she is turning to the dreaded ribbon.

To ensure that the night isn’t just about African-Americans, Longoria is appealing to Latinos attending to wear brown ribbons in solidarity with Latinos in the entertainment industry, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Brown Power!

Labeled the Brown Ribbon Campaign, the Reporter noted that the campaign has its own hashtags: #HollywoodBrownout and #BrownRibbonCampaign.

The entertainment news source said Longoria’s goal is to “bring awareness to the fact that Latinos make up 25 percent of U.S. movie ticket buyers but lack equivalent onscreen representation.”

“I can’t wait for the day when ‘diversity’ isn’t just the hot topic of the moment, but a true reality that is reflected on-screen,” Longoria said in a statement. “The change is coming, and I am happy to be a part of it.”

The “oppressed” actress has an estimated net worth of $35 million dollars as a result of her career in Hollywood.

And the pampered star seems to have lost sight of the fact that Hollywood is a frigging business, not a collection of community organizers seeking social justice. Investors risk millions of dollars to produce movies to make a return on their dollar, a foreign concept to most liberals.

As for Sunday night, don’t say you weren’t warned.
