Blaze TV anchor Tomi Lahren received hate mail and death threats as a result of eviscerating pop singer Beyoncé‘s Super Bowl halftime show that served to keep the races segregated rather than bring people together.
Lahren posted a response to the haters in a new “Final Thoughts” edition and advised them that they’re missing a crucial point — “racism is not a one-way street.”
“Let’s get something straight,” she told them at the outset. “You don’t scare me. You don’t intimidate me. You will not silence me. You’re bullies.”
She called Beyoncé’s audacious display glorifying the Black Lives Matter movement, Malcolm X and the Black Panthers “divisive” at a time when people from all backgrounds come together — a national championship sporting event.
Lahren emphasized that although she had nothing personally against Beyoncé, the singer’s message was wrong.
“She chose to pay homage to a group that advocated violence as a means to an end,” Lahren said. “She, while flanked and protected by law enforcement both white and black, chose to use her platform to agitate progress and encourage division.”
“If you believe the way to equality and understanding is violence and profanity, I feel sorry for you,” she told the haters. “But unlike you, I won’t call you names, or tell you to die,” Lahren said before adding, “But I will pray for you.”
She posted the video to Facebook along with this message:
“Truth is, some of you aren’t interested in a real conversation about race – you’d rather go on the attack for anyone that dares question your aggressive, divisive and damaging agenda.”
