Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is featured in a newly released Islamist recruitment video from the Somali-based terrorist group al-Shabab.
It’s impossible to say if the al Qaida affiliate was inspired by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Following Trump’s remark last month to temporary ban Muslims from entering the United States “until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on,” Clinton claimed the GOP rival had been used in recruitment videos from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
“He is becoming ISIS’s best recruiter,” Clinton said.
The controversial claim didn’t exactly pan out at the time and Trump demanded an apology that never came.
The 52-minute al-Shabab video used a sound byte from Trump’s proposed ban, along with footage from noted racist Malcolm X to convince Muslims that the U.S. is a racist country and will turn on its Muslim community, according to CNN.
Ironically, the terrorist group renowned for its brutality bleeped the word “hell” when including Trump’s comment.
“The West will eventually turn against its Muslim citizens,” deceased al-Qaida leader Anwar al-Awlaki tells Muslim-Americans in the video. “Slowly but surely, your situation is becoming similar to that of the embattled Muslim community of Spain after the fall of Granada.”
The video also makes an appeal to the Black Lives Matter hate group.
Playing off the trumped up racial tensions over alleged police brutality, the video includes footage from Ferguson and Baltimore and calls on young blacks to convert to Islam — it also claims this is what’s in store for American Muslims, CNN reported.
