A home surveillance camera captured a not-so-bright criminal stealing a package off a front porch — a growing problem in the Amazon age.
After initially approaching the porch and seeing a camera — which he looks directly into — the genius retreated to reevaluate his options. After spending a couple of minutes to formulate a plan, he returned with a cloth covering his head and took the package.
It apparently never occurred to the man that the camera had already captured his image.
The Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia released the video seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the “person of interest” in the robbery that occurred two weeks ago.
