Cruz has a cartoon for WaPo cartoonist who mocked his kids

Sen. Ted Cruz proved Wednesday that in addition to being a firm conservative, a champion debater and a solid constitutional lawyer, he also has an eye for political cartoons.

After Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist Ann Telnaes depicted the Texas Republican’s young daughters as trained monkeys because of their appearance in a cute holiday season political ad, Cruz fought fire with fire.

He tweeted:

Bam! Pow! Kaboom! the Lone Star firebrand hit the nail on the head with this one, and the Cruz Crew loved it!

Think twice before taking cheap shots at someone with a greater intellect — it’s bound to kick you in the butt afterwards.
