No one can argue that this week has been one for the books for Miss Colombia, and now the South American beauty is being offered a lot of money to star in a sex tape.
How much? Try $1 million.
After having to endure the embarrassment of a lifetime when host Steve Harvey incorrectly named her as the winner of the Miss Universe pageant, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo was then dubbed a “straight-up diva bitch” by pageant judge Paris Hilton.
Even though she had to stand before a worldwide TV audience and be awkwardly stripped of the Miss Universe crown.
And that’s where a porn industry leader comes crawling out of the shadows.
The New York Daily News reported:
Vivid Entertainment has offered Ariadna Gutierrez $1 million to make a sex tape — telling the shortest-reigning Miss Universe she could “benefit” from her experience financially while also “increasing your fame way past that of the new Miss Universe.”
In a letter leaked to TMZ, Vivid honcho Steven Hirsch likened Gutierrez to 1984 Miss America winner Vanessa Williams, who was stripped of her crown after old nude photos of her were published.
Hirsch said in the letter Williams “has even admitted that the incident with Penthouse helped rather than hurt her career,” according to TMZ
And while there’s a big difference between a photo shoot and a sex tape, Hirsch was prepared for that argument.
“Celebrity sex tapes we have distributed have enhanced the careers of stars such as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson, Pamela Anderson and many others,” he wrote.
Being the swell guy that he is, Hirsch tells Miss Colombia that she can even pick her own sex partners and the type of sex she wants to have.
As for being de-crowned, he had an answer for that too, promising to “commission the making of the first Vivid Girl Crown for you and we believe it will be grander than anything Miss Philippines will ever wear.”
Arevalo responded Tuesday on Instagram to Harvey’s colossal mistake, saying it was her “destiny.”
“After the storm comes the calm. I want to thank each and everyone of you who have sent messages of support and strength,” she wrote. “Every one of you has become an incredible human being in my book and I am the most fortunate and thankful for having the support not only from one country but from the whole entire world.”
“Your destiny is written for you. And my destiny was this,” she added. “I was able to bring happiness to my country after becoming Miss Universe for only a couple of minutes…”
