Trump: I’d ‘never kill’ a reporter, ‘but I do hate them’

At a Michigan campaign rally, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told an estimated 7,500 supporters that although he hates reporters, he wouldn’t go so far as to kill one.

The issue came up when the real estate developer was discussing Russian President Vladimir Putin, who had recently expressed admiration for Trump.

“Then they said, ‘You know, he’s killed reporters,’” Trump said. “And I don’t like that. I’m totally against that.”

“But I do hate them,” Trump said. “I hate some of these people, but I’ll be honest, I would never kill them.”

“Some of them are such lying, disgusting people, it’s true,” Trump continued, repeating he “would never kill them.”

“And anybody that does, I think, would be despicable,” he concluded.

Trump revealed his animosity toward Fox News host Megyn Kelly immediately after the first GOP presidential debate, which she co-monitored along with Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier and Chris Wallace.

Trump and Kelly will meet again at a debate scheduled in Des Moines, Iowa on January 28.

And she got plenty of replies.

And one seemed disappointed at the news.
