With plenty of time on his hands and in need of an opponent, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick decided to challenge Donald Trump on social media over what the player perceived to be “racism.”
Kaepernick posted a series of photos and memes on Instagram, to include a photo collage that showed a “No Colored Allowed” sign, a “Japs Keep Moving” sign and a “Muslim Free Zone” sign.
The caption read: “Racism and discrimination isn’t OK we are all human beings! Things need to change!”
In another post, he asked, “What are you really scared of?”
Kaepernick has had a terrible year after being benched in November — his position coach said he was in need of a mental break. He was placed on injured reserve shortly thereafter, a surprising move which put his future in San Francisco in question.
But after ripping the Republican presidential front-runner on Friday, perhaps he can take up a career in political punditry. A career that would likely include more MSNBC appearances than Fox News stints.
For the record, Kaepernick’s 49ers lost Sunday to the woeful Cleveland Browns, 24-10.
These are facts! What are you really scared of? A photo posted by colin kaepernick (@kaepernick7) on
