State Dept. to Senate: Oops, Hillary’s IT staffer – who pleaded ‘the Fifth’ – emails lost too

The State Department claims it cannot locate emails from IT staffer Bryan Pagliano, who invoked the Fifth Amendment when asked to testify before Congress.

Pagliano helped former Secretary of State Clinton set up the infamous private email server at her home.

Politico reported on this issue:

State officials told the Senate Judiciary Committee in a recent closed-door meeting that they could not locate what’s known as a “.pst file” for Pagliano’s work during Clinton’s tenure, which would have included copies of the tech expert’s emails, according to a letter Chairman Chuck Grassley sent to Secretary of State John Kerry that was obtained by POLITICO.

Which makes one wonder if this is just a game for the Obama administration, knowing full well that the Justice Department and media allies have little appetite to look into claims that prove to be wrong at a later date.

The FBI has Pagliano’s computer, so there’ still some hope to locate the emails — sometime after Nov. 8, 2016.

Nevertheless, the reaction on social media suggests that most Americans are long over the corruption that defines Team Hillary. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:

Taking “transparency” to new lows, the State Department has found about 1,300 emails relating to Islamic terrorist Anwar Al-Awlaki —  more than four years after the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request.

Politico reported:

The State Department has belatedly discovered about 1,300 emails relating to deceased Islamic cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki in official accounts belonging to top aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, more than four years after a conservative group requested all such records, a new court filing reports.

The State Department claimed an initial search of records from Clinton’s office turned up nothing, but lo and behold, four years later during a follow-up search, there they were!
