It had to happen eventually.
When you are running a presidential campaign empathizing your main accomplishment as being a woman and thwarting any attack against you as sexism it’s no surprise Hillary Clinton has been called to the carpet on her husband’s checkered past.
At a campaign stop in New Hampshire on Thursday Clinton was asked about her husbands rape accusers.
“You say that all rape victims should be believed, but would you say that about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, and/or Paula Jones?” a woman asked the Democratic presidential front-runner of three women that have accused former President Bill Clinton of rape or sexual assault.
The woman was likely referring to Hillary’s statement via Twitter in September when she famously said, rape victims have a “right to be believed.”
"To every survivor of sexual assault…You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed. We're with you." —Hillary

But Hillary basically shrugged it off successfully in front of an adoring crowd. She even looked a little surprised herself.
“I would say that everybody should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence,” Clinton replied.

The crowd on social media had a different take:
woman asks @HillaryClinton: U recently said all rape victims should be believed. what about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Wiley, Paula Jones?

@jaketapper @HillaryClinton How’d she slip into the hand-picked crowd? Wow. — MenRec (@rustyweiss74) December 3, 2015
@jaketapper @HillaryClinton Give that woman an honorary journalism degree. She’s asking the questions the media won’t.

@jaketapper @HillaryClinton I hope the lady asking the question makes it home okay. — Deana (@Rogue_40) December 3, 2015
@McDebida @jaketapper @billpostmus Trying to recall how many MSM reporters have EVER asked @HillaryClinton such a question. Lost count at 0.

@jaketapper @GrayConnolly @HillaryClinton This is the danger of pandering by making absolutist statements — tullymox (@tullymox) December 3, 2015
@jaketapper @KurtSchlichter @HillaryClinton when will she be presenting the evidence she cited in her answer?
