On the day after the horrific mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, which took 14 lives, U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer made what has to be the most delusional statement of her political career.
“Sensible gun laws work,” the Democrat from California told reporters. “We’ve proven it in California.”

Wednesday’s San Bernardino terrorist attack is the most deadly mass shooting in the United States since the dreadful Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, and is the sixth most deadly since 1949, according to KTLA.

Boxer announced on her website in January that she would be retiring from the Senate in 2016. No doubt 2016 can’t come soon enough for some Californians.
