Among the victims that the San Bernardino terrorist killed on Wednesday was a Messianic Jew who argued religion with the killer.
All CNN wanted to know when speaking to the man’s widow on Thursday, was if her husband, Nicholas Thalasinos, essentially provoked Syed Farook by proselytizing about Jesus Christ, whom Messianic Jews regard as the Savior.
CNN’s Gary Tuchman gave widow Jennifer Thalasinos the third degree asking if her husband evangelized to Farook and if his comments about radical Muslims could have played a role in the killings.
According to what Thalasinos’ friend told the Associated Press the two had argued over religion and Israel.
Kuuleme Stephens told AP she was brought into an argument between the two when she called Thalasinos and he complained to her, in front of Farook, that he “doesn’t agree that Islam is not a peaceful religion.”
According to her account, Farook responded by saying that American’s don’t understand Islam, which might be all too true.
Jennifer Thalasinos told the Los Angeles Times on Thursday that she was stunned to learn Farook was behind the attack.
“They got along,” she said. “As far as I know, [Farook] got along with everybody. That’s what’s so shocking.”
Not too shocking if you listen to what Farook allegedly told Thalasinos.
Americans just don’t understand Islam and neither does CNN.
