A Muslim woman got a free pass when she asserted that white male Christians are more responsible for terrorism in the United States than Muslims are.
“When you look at the majority of terrorist attacks in the United States, according to the FBI, the majority of domestic terror attacks are actually committed by white, male Christians. Now that’s just the facts,” Dalia Mogahed told Chuck Todd Sunday on “Meet The Press.”
Mogahed gave no statistics or facts to back up the bold assertion and never bothered to explain the percentage of white males who live in the country, compared to the Muslim population. The comparison is laughable.
What definition of terrorism she is using is anyone’s guess.
She was even insulted by the idea that Muslims should condemn terrorism.
“I think we should take a step back and ask a different question, which is ‘Is it justified to demand that Muslims condemn terrorism?’ Now, that might sound a little radical just even asking it,” she told Todd.
“The reason I say that is this,” Mogahed continued. “Condoning the killing of civilians is, to me, about the most monstrous thing you can to do. And to be suspected of doing something so monstrous, simply because of your faith, seems very unfair.”
Rather than challenge Mogahed on any of the things she said, that definitely deserved questioning, he asked her what she would like to say to Donald Trump instead.
“I would say ‘you don’t understand the Constitution and you are wrecking freedom in America,'” she said.
