‘F**k Trump!’ Chicago protesters target Trump Tower, rip Christmas lights off trees on city streets

“Peaceful” Black Lives Matter activists attacked Christmas late Wednesday in Chicago, and even turned on Trump Tower.

Taking to the streets for the second night following the release of a dash-cam video of a Chicago police officer fatally shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald, the protesters were not in much of a holiday spirit.

So they attacked the city of Chicago’s official Christmas tree — a tree lighting ceremony had just taken place on Tuesday.

After police dispersed the unruly crowd , the protesters then set their sights on nearby Trump Tower.

Presumably because Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is… well, a Republican.

Chanting “F**k Trump,” the Black Lives Matter protesters started ripping Christmas ornaments off of the building. Guards can be seen in video footage blocking the doors to prevent the mob from entering the building.

The reaction on social media shows that — as usual — the Black Lives Matter movement does more harm than good for its cause. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
