Scaredy-cat Republicans afraid ‘of 3-year-old orphans’ says Obama; GOP best ‘recruitment tool’ for ISIS

If only President Obama went after the Islamic State with the same zeal he attacks Republicans.

In stark contrast to the actions of French President Francois Hollande, who pulled his people together in the wake of last week’s bloody attack at the hands of Islamic extremists, a defensive Obama added to his legacy as the most divisive commander in chief in recent memory by saying the GOP is a “recruitment tool” for ISIS.

Speaking at a news conference Wednesday in the Philippines, Obama pointed to the concerns of some GOP presidential candidates about bringing in Syrian refugees in the aftermath of the Paris attack, or limiting those accepted to “proven Christians” only.

“I cannot think of a more potent recruitment tool for ISIL than some of the rhetoric that’s coming out of here during the course of this debate,” the president said.

He went so far as to mock the GOP over their concern for the safety of American citizens.

“These are the folks oftentimes who suggest that they’re so tough, that just talking to Putin, or staring down ISIL, or using some additional rhetoric somehow is going to solve the problems out there,” he said. But, apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America.”

“At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates,” he added. “Now they are scared of three year old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me.”

Nevertheless, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, men make up 72 percent of the refugees fleeing the Middle East by crossing the Mediterranean Sea into Europe.
