Dumb and DUMBER! Kerry’s big blunder tops boss in statement about Paris; calls for his resignation

Talk about “Dumb and DUMBER!”

When it comes to the Obama administration’s reaction to the terrorist attack in Paris that killed at least 132 people, it’s a toss up between President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry on who has made the stupidest remarks.

Obama was busy attacking Republicans and Kerry, who never seems to know when to shut up, made a “mindbendingly awful” comparison, as one social media user astutely described it, between last week’s attack and the terrorist attack on the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

The attack on the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo was also at the hands of Islamic extremists, but Kerry appeared to suggest there was some “rationale” behind that attack.

“There’s something different about what happened from Charlie Hebdo, and I think everybody would feel that,” Kerry said in remarks at the U.S. embassy in Paris on Tuesday. “There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy in terms of – not a legitimacy, but a rationale that you could attach yourself to somehow and say, okay, they’re really angry because of this and that.”

Can you imagine the media meltdown had a Republican official said this? Either way, conservative talk radio host Tammy Bruce appeared on the Fox Business Network to demand that Kerry resign:

The reaction on social media was a toss up between those tagging Kerry as an idiot and those calling for his resignation. Here’s a sampling from Twitter:
