MSNBC’s a joke! Here’s the REAL Hillary interview that was so dumb, ‘SNL’ had to spoof it

It was almost like watching a “Saturday Night Live” skit.

As if intent on proving Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz right for ripping CNBC moderators over the line of questioning at last week’s GOP presidential debate, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow took a unique approach Friday during the network’s Democratic presidential candidate forum.

Hillary Clinton was given the opportunity to choose between two envelopes containing “unconventional questions” — but it wasn’t the process that stood out as much as what the questions were.

In fact, “Saturday Night Live” didn’t have to break a sweat to spoof it — the actual exchange was so dumb, few changes were needed:

SNL nails ‘Hillary’ and ‘Bernie’ in mock MSNBC forum, Larry David kills it, again

“The questions in here are not policy questions,” Maddow explained. “They are also not designed to make you look or feel dumb.”

And what were the questions?

Q: If you had time to learn a new language, which one?

Q: Introvert or extrovert?

Q: Name a current Republican presidential candidate who you would pick as vice president if you had to?

Q: I say hush puppy, do you think food, footwear or Fido?

If only Republican candidates were afforded such luxury.

Which is what prompted Cruz to slam the CNBC moderators last week for their choice of questions.

‘SNL’ skit fast forwards to what Trump’s
America looks like if he wins; with surprise cameo

“This is not a cage match,” Cruz said at last week’s debate. “And you look at the questions — Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain? Ben Carson, can you do math? John Kasich, will you insult two people over here? Marco Rubio, why don’t you resign? Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen?”

“How about talking about the substantive issues,” he added.

Like what does the term “hush puppy” represent to candidates.
