Fox News host Greta Van Susteren laced into MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry who somehow found a way to turn a harmless comment someone made into a racial attack.
On Sunday’s broadcast of her self-titled show Harris-Perry scolded a guest, Alfonso Aguilar who referred to Rep. Paul Ryan, the presumptive next Speaker of the House, as a hard worker.
“I actually keep an image of folks working in cotton fields on my office wall, because it is a reminder about what hard work looks like,” Perry said, chastising Aguilar for not being more careful with his choice of words.
Talk about micro-aggression hypersensitivity on steroids.
“I hardly know what to say,” Van Susteren said. “Is she suggesting that the description ‘hard worker’ may be racist?”
“While being on TV is not hard work,” she added. “Those of us on TV have a responsibility to not be completely ridiculous.”
Not on MSNBC Greta.
