An 80-year-old Tennessee man stunned the staff of a music shop and delighted the Internet by proving there is no age limit on rockin’ out.
Bob Wood walked into British Audio Service in Nashville and played a rendition of the Mexican classic “Besame Mucho.”
The moment was captured on video by a store manager who posted it to Facebook where it has since been viewed more than two million times.
According to what his daughter Melanie told Guitar Player her dad, who has nine children in total, was signed as a performer at Jamboree USA in Wheeling, West Virginia in 1970.
Wood, who is still an active performer, has made several albums, won Entertainer of the Year by Eastern States Country Music Inc in 1975 and 1976 and was elected to the Southern Legends Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007, according to Guitar Player.
Watch the epic impromptu jam session below.
This guy rules. Mr. Bob Wood, ladies and gentlemen
