Anti-cop protesters see swift justice when they try to replace US flag with ‘unapologetically black’ flag

Before the body of NYPD’s Randolph Holder, the latest police officer shot and killed in the line of duty, had been laid to rest, a huge Black Lives Matter demonstration was held Saturday in Chicago.

The Chicago protest hit the skidded to a halt, however, when a demonstrator struggled trying to take down the American flag.

Hint: It’s not rocket science.

When the group arrived at McCormick Place, the whole thing turned into slap-stick when the American flag was replaced with one reading “Unapologetically Black.” A Palestinian flag was also on display.

The irony of displaying the Palestinian flag wasn’t lost.

As the protester struggled to bring down Old Glory, a police officer was on hand to respectfully make sure she didn’t touch the ground.

But the transformation was short-lived. The red, white and blue was promptly returned to its rightful place.

See? That’s how you do it.

Hundreds marched from Chicago police headquarters to McCormick Place, where the International Association of Chiefs of Police was holding its annual conference. The group also staged a sit-in in an attempt to disrupt the largest police gathering of its kind nationwide, with over 14,000 police officers in attendance, according to Chicago ABC affiliate channel 7 Eyewitness News. Lifted Voices and the Black Youth Project also partook in the demonstration.

The demonstration’s theme was Stop the Cops. Fox News host Greg Gutfeld wasn’t much impressed.

“What we’re looking for today is to have our voices heard, to show the coalition of voices, to show that black lives matter, to make our voices heard to this very powerful organization that sets policies,” protester Maria Hadden said, according to 7 Eyewitness News. “We want less money for policing and more money for community services.” When the demonstrators arrived at McCormick Place, a representative of the Black Youth Project let the police gathering know they weren’t welcome.

the protesters also staged a sit-in with a moronic chant.

The counter to that one is what are the protesters going to do when they need a cop?

Dozens of the protesters were arrested — most of them those involved in the sit-in for blocking the road
