Turns out Anderson Cooper is not feeling all that fabulous about how he was portrayed last week on “Saturday Night Live.”
Appearing Thursday on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live!,” Cooper told host Andy Cohen he was not too happy with how comedian Jon Rudnitsky played him in a spoof of CNN’s Democratic presidential debate.
Rudnitsky took on the role after Cooper turned down a request to play himself because of a scheduling conflict.
Cohen ginned things up a bit when he noted how Rudnitsky “queened” Cooper up — the CNN anchor is openly gay.
“‘SNL’ spoofed the debate and they spoofed you,” Cohen said. “And I was offended by the spoof because I thought the guy kind of queened it up in playing you.”

“You know, I’m not easily offended,” Cooper said. “I didn’t think it was very good. Seth Meyers did a spoof of me years ago that was really funny and I’m all for being spoofed. I did think it was a little oddly… it was like the only thing he knew about me was that I was gay so that’s sort of what he went with.”
An obvious reference to the overtly flamboyant persona Rudnitsky took on as Cooper.
“I got a little Truman Capote vibe which I thought — it was a little snideness, which I thought was odd,” Cooper added.
The skit can be seen here and you can judge for yourself whether Rudnitsky went a little too far:
