MTV crew lectures viewers about ‘racist’ Halloween costumes; proceeds to bash white southerners

little amigofeatMTV has taken the time to produce a video meant to enlighten the masses about the dangers of Halloween costumes – racist dangers.

The once-popular music channel released a video this week where a cast of young liberals urge parents to avoid dressing their little Munchkins in certain Halloween costumes they deem “racially insensitive.” But not without a dig at white folks because apparently demeaning them isn’t racist at all — it’s just good, clean fun.

In short, they do what young liberals do best — they say everyone is free to live their lives as they see fit — so long as they approve.

The social justice warriors make sure to note the inherent “racially insensitive” nature of specific costumes, among them, “Little Amigo,” “China Boy,” “Arabian Sultan,” “Little Geisha,” “Indian Brave” and “Indian Girl.”

Notwithstanding the old maxim that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, apparently dressing up as anything you’re not, is racist. I can see it now:

“Trick or treat!”

“And what are you, young man?”

“I’m a white Angle-Saxon Protestant hailing from an upper-middle class family with deep-rooted racial tendencies!”

I’ll pass. Give me the “Little Amigo” outfit in large, sombrero size 7-3/8.

But there’s hope yet for white kids. According to the well-meaning albeit idiotic cast of morons, there’s one costume that’s fine for a white kid (other than going as a WASP): The “Confederate Officer” outfit.

“Finally, a costume where white people are dressing like their own race, and somehow it’s more offensive,” a cast member said.

If you didn’t get the point that all white people are racist from that comment, it’s driven home in the next.

“If you buy this costume for your kid, I hope that you get into a car accident and have to be saved by black paramedics.”

Apparently it’s not racist to mock white people or even wish therm harm — that’s called humor.

Watch the video, via MTV. Viewer warning: Extreme stupidity follows:

When MTV promoted the video, they got all sorts of blowback, including these:

It didn’t take long before an enterprising soul posted a reply video to MTV’s, in which the narrater concludes that if one were to take MTV’s argument to its logical conclusion, everything is racist (except, of course, mocking white people).
