The Obama administration has unveiled a 63-page handbook forcing schools to welcome, and essentially recruit, illegal immigrants.
The announcement was made by the Education Department’s John King at San Francisco State University on Tuesday.
Very excited to be on the @sfsu campus today. Important announcement to support schools, colleges and students. Stay tuned!

“Message publicly that your institution supports undocumented students and their rights to a high-quality education,” the handbook reads. The handbook also includes some tips for teachers to help better push the propaganda in class.
- Engage in self-reflection to address personal biases and increase multicultural competence.
- Incorporate discussions around diversity and immigration into instruction.
- Understand the stress and other feelings undocumented youth and their families may experience.
- Develop and host multicultural trainings and workshops that educate and equip school staff to support undocumented students and their families.
The move drew criticism from those who would actually like to see immigration laws enforced, the Washington Times reported.
“If you read between the lines, I think there’s a veiled threat that if you’re not following certain procedures you could be violating their rights in some way,” Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies told the Times.
There were those who welcomed casting aside the silly idea that a country ought to have borders and enforce its laws, and giving the illegal immigrant students more opportunities to obtain financial aid and scholarships.
“Across the country, there are millions of undocumented youth who dream of a better life. At the AFT, we believe that all schools should be safe havens where children can dream their dreams and achieve them, and it is our job to help them get there,” executive vice president of the American Federation of Teachers told the Times.
