A California based rapper was shot in the head and his first response was to grab his phone. Not to call 911, but to take a selfie.
After being shot by what he claimed was an AK-47, Teriq Royal stayed at the gas station where the shooting occurred and made a video for his fans bragging that he’s “really a rapper now.”
He uploaded the video to Facebook and thanked God for allowing him to survive the shooting, the New York Daily News reported.
“God let me walk away from an AK47 dumpin rounds at me and my bros,” he wrote. “I just want yall to know GOD IS REAL AND GOD LOVES YOU ! we living in some dark days , we wasn’t even his targets , he was just trigger happy,” he wrote.
Royal eventually got to the hospital and posted a picture of the bullet fragments in his head.
