An American Airlines flight attendant was caught on camera bullying a sobbing woman and booting her off the plane.
The incident began when a male flight attendant asked the woman to sit down and clear the aisle before takeoff, but the woman was sobbing and didn’t hear him, according to KATU News.
Footage of the incident, which surfaced Sunday, shows the unidentified woman pleading with a female flight attendant who asked her to “come off the aircraft.”
“Are you serious?” the weeping woman asks. “This can’t be legal, I didn’t do anything.”
“If you don’t come off, I’m going to have to call the officers,” the female flight attendant says.
Outraged passengers, who can be seen booing the crew for kicking the woman off the plane, maintain that the woman didn’t hear the attendant’s request to move out of the aisle.
“Shame on American!” one passenger can be heard saying.
“Screw this airline!” another shouts.
American Airlines is reportedly investigating the incident.
