Obama will throw ‘entire backing of White House’ behind Biden in exchange for THIS, sources say

obama patrick biden bprBarack Obama is backing a Joe Biden presidential run, but only if the president is allowed to have “final say” on who will be his running mate, author and journalist Ed Klein suggested Sunday.

Obama will give Biden “permission” to use Air Force Two to fly to promote his potential candidacy, but “Obama would like to see Deval Patrick, the former governor of Massachusetts and an African-American, run on the Biden ticket,” Klein, author of the new Hillary Clinton biography Unlikeable, explained to John Castimatidis on AM 970 radio.

Biden served in the Senate and ran for president twice before becoming vice president. He cited the recent death of his son Beau as weighing in heavily on his decision to run a third time.

The chatter around a Joe Biden presidential bid amongst Democrats across the nation is rooted in concern of Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s slipping poll numbers and ongoing email debacle.

Klein, the former foreign editor of Newsweek and former editor of The New York Times Magazine, claimed Sunday that that the only reason the email and server controversy continues to swirl around Hillary Clinton is because the Obama administration is allowing it to happen.

“None of this would have taken place without the president’s approval,” Klein said. “Obama — if he gave Biden his endorsement — would ask for something in return . . . and what he’s asked for is a say, a final say, in Biden’s choice.”

Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett has specifically escalated the Clinton email scandal, Klein said.

“The Obama people — that means Barack, Michelle, and Valerie Jarrett, their chief political adviser and friend — do not want to see the Clintons back in the White House,” said Klein. “They’ve done everything in their power to stop her from getting the nomination.”

During his appearance on “Fox and Friends” Saturday, Klein said that the Obama White House “does not want to see Hillary Clinton succeed Barack Obama in the Oval Office”adding that “they don’t feel like she has the kind of principles, and stands for the same kind of thing, that he does.”

“According to my sources, Barack Obama has said [he] will throw the entire backing of the White House, the Democratic National Committee, money, and if possible, even the minority vote at Biden in return for a say in his choice of running mate,” Klein said.
