Donald Trump had a message for would-be attackers on Saturday: He’s ready for them.
Channeling his inner-Charles Bronson, the Republican presidential front-runner dropped a bit of a bombshell Saturday when he admitted that he has a concealed carry license.
“I have a license to carry in New York, can you believe that?” Trump told supporters. “Somebody attacks me, they’re gonna be shocked!”
He then imitated pulling a gun from his hip and firing it.
Trump was speaking at a rally in Franklin, Tennessee, and was making a vigorous defense of the Second Amendment in the wake of the mass shooting at an Oregon community college.

Getting the crowd involved, Trump went on to profess his love for the 1974 film “Death Wish,” starring the late, great actor Bronson as a mild-mannered New York City architect-turned-vigilante.
“Today you can’t make that movie because it’s not politically correct,” Trump said.
The real estate tycoon pointed out that while the gun-grabbers want to restrict Americans’ rights to bear arms, better mental health care would do more to limit mass shootings in America.
“It’s not the guns,” he said. “It’s the people. It’s these sick people.”
Some of Trump’s speech is seen here, with the comment about having a concealed carry license coming just after the 2 minute mark:
