In response to a “beyond creepy” video depicting BlazeTV host Dana Loesch shooting herself in the head, the firearms manufacturer Remington Arms took the exceptional step of offering the conservative star a new “piece” if she felt it was needed.
A gun-grabber altered a promotional video Loesch did for the National Rifle Association to make it look as if she was the victim of a self-inflicted fatal gunshot wound.

Loesch, an avid supporter of the Second Amendment, saw the disgusting video as a threat against her life — rightfully so — and fired back on Twitter, thanking the person behind the video for “proving my point of why I carry and fight for that right.”
And that’s where Remington, America’s oldest gun maker, came into play.
Utilizing the hashtag #LiveReady, the manufacturer tagged Loesch in the following message:
@DLoesch : We're following your story, video buzz. Beyond creepy. If you need a new concealed carry piece, message us. #2A #LIVEREADY

Not being one to look a gift horse in the mouth, and proving that she has sufficient brains to go with her beauty, Loesch replied back:
Thank you for this @RemingtonArms . Will do. https://t.co/Auxod5uhNI

Remington’s generous offer proved to be a smart promotional move, judging by the reaction on social media. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
@DLoesch @RemingtonArms Now that’s a nice serving of liberty smothered in awesome sauce.
