President Obama addressed poverty and gender discrimination Sunday at a United Nations summit, and was quickly called to task by Fox News political analyst
selective outrage.Speaking at the closing session of the Summit to adopt the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the president said that when it comes to discrimination, he did “not have patience” for countries that say “we have our own way of doing things.”

According to CBS News, the summit “is focused on fixing some of the world’s greatest problems through a 15-year road map to eliminate poverty and hunger.” Ridding the world of liberal policy will achieve the same goal in a fraction of the time.
CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller posted Obama’s remarks on Twitter:
When it comes to discrimination, @POTUS says "I do not have patience" for countries that say "we have our own way of doing things.”

The hypocrisy on display was too much for Tantaros to bear, in light of the news that the U.S. military was told to look the other way as Afghan men raped small boys. And with Obama’s embrace of factions of Islam who continue to employ 7th century standards in a 21st century world.
She slammed Obama on social media with a precise reminder of that harsh reality:
Unless these countries are discriminating against gays, Christians or women. https://t.co/d8c3LeAn67

Turns out, Tantaros wasn’t the only one to see the glaring double standard, particularly in regard to the abuse of small boys in Afghanistan. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
@AndreaTantaros .@POTUS is letting a country that hangs gays get nukes.

@AndreaTantaros He also has lots of patience when he draws a line in the sand. He does nothing.

@markknoller but he’s cool with religions that say that

@AndreaTantaros @markknoller @POTUS in those cases, we give ’em 150 billion dollars and nukes. Or just buy oil from them at inflated prices.

.@AndreaTantaros @JohnMPowersII @POTUS What about Afghans’ custom of abusing boys, Mr. Obama, not only is it OK w/you, u punish our men 4 it

@AndreaTantaros @markknoller @POTUS Why did he make his military keep quiet about child rape in Afghanistan?
— Jean Tuttle (@waffle721) September 27, 2015
@markknoller @POTUS Didn’t he just meet with a leader that believes just that?
— Kurt Pimentel (@Kurtpimentel) September 27, 2015
@markknoller How can the media report this with straight faces? How?
— Lansford (@eserkes) September 27, 2015
@markknoller @POTUS Didn’t we just kick a Army Ranger out for stopping an Afghan military leader from molesting a young boy?
