In response to a rare appearance by Hillary Clinton on the Sunday morning talk show circuit, “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski claimed the Democratic presidential contender’s interview was “textbook planned out” by her team.
Not only that, she said the Clinton campaign stopped having any “conversation” with their show because they — the show’s hosts — could not be “controlled.”
The observation came while co-host Joe Scarborough was commenting on there being no follow up questions during Clinton’s interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
“Well that’s because the campaign did not allow that,” Brzezinski said. “You know that this interview was set up so that certain questions on policy were required for a certain amount of time and then they could go into emails for a certain amount of time.”

“Believe me, it was textbook planned out,” she added. “I can see Jen Palmieri and everybody all over that interview and this happened with two other network interviews.”
(Palmieri is the director of communications for the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.)
Brzezinski then dropped the bombshell when asked if she’s sure of her ground.
“I do know it happens,” she replied. “I can tell you right now, the conversation with this show stopped because we were not controlled.”
And this coming from MSNBC, widely seen as friendly confines for Democrats.
