Fox News host still steaming over ‘Porn Star’ comedy skit; and social media is hot!

Howard Kurtz Jenna LeeFox News host of “Happening Now,” Jenna Lee, is still on the warpath against late-night comedian Conan O’Brien — and she’s got a social media army behind her.

Lee appeared on Fox News “Media Buzz” Sunday to talk about an O’Brien skit from mid-September that compared Lee and other women at Fox to porn stars.

“I don’t think he owes me an apology. He was trying to be funny. He failed, clearly,” she told host Howard Kurtz. “A lot of the viewers that weighed in also thought it wasn’t really that funny. But I think my point has been received really well.”

But that didn’t mean she wasn’t still angry about the TBS late night hosts comparison, since it was Lee’s face that appeared on the fake book he showed his audience on Sept 14 titled “Fox News Host or Porn Star?”

She explained why she felt the need to speak out on television even after her Facebook post excoriating O’Brien last week.

“I believe that silence makes you complicit,” she said. “This was the moment that I felt I couldn’t be silent about it.”

Many Twitter users also chose to not remain silent on the matter.
