An Ohio parent frustrated with the ridiculous nature of Common Core mathematics got even with his child’s school in hilarious fashion.
Douglas Herrmann wrote a check to Melridge Elementary in Painesville, but there’s a catch.
The check is made out by replacing money amounts with Common Core math equations, so if the school wants to cash it, officials will have to bring along someone who can decipher what that nonsense means.
Herrmann posted a photo of the check on Facebook on Wednesday, and it has since been shared more than 18,000 times.
“Wrote a check to Melridge Elementary using common core numbers. I wonder if they’ll take it? #YouFigureItOut,” he wrote with the picture.
Good luck with that.
