She’s got legs! Houston model claims title of longest legs in America

With legs that measure 49” from her hip to the heel of her foot, a 26-year-old Texas woman stands above the crowd as America’s leggiest woman.

Houston model Lauren Williams told the Daily Mail that she’s had longer legs than everyone she knows for as long as she can remember.

“Pretty regularly, I have people comment on how tall I am or how longs my legs are,” she said. “I don’t recall a time when I realized I had such long legs. I was just always something about me.”

Williams’ legs are two inches longer than those of the  previous record holder Brooke Banker of Brooklyn, according to the New York Post.

The 6’4” beauty with size 11 feet said her genetic gifts are shared by her family, which includes a father, mother and twin sisters all measuring over six feet tall.

While Williams wasn’t expecting any of the attention that is coming with her newfound fame, she’s still enjoying about it.

“It’s interesting to me that this is a title I now hold,” she told the Daily Mail. “I never realized that it would turn out to be such a big deal, but I’m really excited.”

Her loved ones are happy for her too, she said.

“Most of my friends and family members are very excited about my title – they are always commenting on how lucky I am,” she added.

Aside from being a model, Williams was a college volleyball player and currently is an educator at a Houston children’s museum.

With all of that going for her, it’s easy to see that Williams has a leg up on her competition.
