Boy Scouts’ answer to ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests could really shake things up

Two Boy Scout brothers from Texas have developed a challenge of their own to challenge the anti-cop Black Lives Matter protesters’ noisy lies about police officers.

Ethan Plumley, 13, and Trevor Plumley, 10, came up with the idea of the Blue Lives Matter challenge after the execution murder of Harris County Deputy Darren Goforth at the hands of Shannon J. Miles.

The two brothers, who say officers aren’t getting the respect they deserve, enlisted the help of the Rosenberg Police Department, which was were more than happy to oblige.

In a video posted to the department’s Facebook page, the Plumley brothers appear with police officers behind them to  explain the simple rules of the challenge.

Shake an officer’s hand, on video, or donate $50 to the 100 Club’s Survivor’s Fund, which helps the survivors of officers killed in the line duty.

Then challenge five other people to do the same thing.

“They go to places other people don’t want to go, and they help people through protecting us, and that’s really important to me,” 13-year-old Ethan said.

The boy’s mother is delighted at her sons’ effort.

“I was really proud, they came up with this idea all on their own. Through scouts, they’re supposed to make a difference, and they felt like they could,” Carol Plumley told Fox 26 Houston.
