Hillary Clinton is not taking any challenge to her coronation lightly after what happened to her in 2008 at the hands of then-Sen. Barack Obama.
The attacks from Team Hillary on Vice President Joe Biden, who has been sending signals that he may challenge her for the Democratic nomination, started Tuesday with Clinton devotee and Manhattan Assemblywoman Deborah Glick firing the opening salvo.
Glick sent a tweet deriding the vice president for his tough questioning of Anita Hill during the 1991 Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

While it is becoming more likely that Biden will jump into the race, he undoubtedly faces an uphill battle as many of his allies have given their support to Clinton early on, the New York Post reported.
“I was never asked to hold off,” Biden’s 2008 Iowa volunteer coordinator, Abby Finkenauer told The Post. Now an Iowa state legislator, Finkenauer said she had not heard from Biden before she allied herself with Clinton’s campaign.
Iowa state Sen. Tony Bisignano, who supports Biden, said the vice president will be “starting from zero” and will have a tough go of it as Clinton already has a large amount of paid staff on the ground in Iowa.
But Politico reported Tuesday the Biden has begun gathering big money donors to help him with a potential challenge to Clinton.
Biden may appeal to donors worried about Clinton’s viability as a candidate, as the debacle over her private email server continues to rage.
Either way, its apparent Hillary is taking the challenge very seriously.
