Presidential candidate Donald Trump counts Ronda Rousey as one of his supporters, but apparently she doesn’t.
Speaking with CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Wednesday about his support for women in the military, the billionaire real estate mogul and Republican front-runner mentioned the Ultimate Fighting Championship star’s support.
“I know some woman that are just — Ronda Rousey is an example, who likes me,” he told Cuomo. “I’d take her on my side as a fighter.”
Those comments were in stark contrast to what the UFC champion told CNN in July.
“I mean, I wouldn’t vote for him,” Rousey told the network. “I just really wouldn’t trust the guy with running my country, that’s all. I’m not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don’t want a reality TV star to be running my country.”
That interview was nearly a month ago, and things may have changed, but Rousey has given no indication publicly that they have.
Trump mentions Rousey at the 5:17 mark:
