ABC reporter pushes Trump on PC language — and gets pushed back HARD

trump-anchor-babyABC News reporter Tom Llamas apparently didn’t get the memo that Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump doesn’t do political correctness.

Llamas confronted Trump at a press conference in Derry, N.H., on Wednesday over his use of the term “anchor babies” to describe children of illegal aliens who are born on U.S. soil.

“You said that you have a big heart, and that you’re not mean-spirited,” Llamas began. “Are you aware that the term ‘anchor baby,’ that’s an offensive term? People find that hurtful.”

When Trump balked at the suggestion, the reporter fired back that the term is “offensive,” and directed the real estate tycoon to “look it up in the dictionary.”

fired after his anti-Trump profanity-laced rant

“You mean it’s not politically correct, and yet everybody uses it?” Trump replied. “You know what? Give me a different term.”

Llama proposed as a politically correct alternative “the American-born childs of undocumented immigrants”

But Trump wasn’t buying it.

“You want me to say that? the business magnate said. “OK… I’ll use the word ‘anchor baby.'”

When Llamas pressed his luck by pushing back, Trump interjected, “Excuse me, I’ll use ‘anchor baby!'”

When challenged by a reporter on the political correctness of the term “anchor babies”, Donald Trump doubles down. What term would you use?
