Even for being a Kennedy, she’s just a little too risqué.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is apparently less than pleased with his 19-year-old daughter’s party-hard lifestyle being documented for the world to see on Instagram, and has asked her to tone down her raunchy account.
Kyra Kennedy’s club-going lifestyle has been well publicized on her Instagram page with cleavage, short skirts, cigarette smoking, and hard drinking all prominently displayed. But according to a report in the New York Post’s Page Six, Kennedy’s father wants her to “clean it up.”
Kennedy’s father called her while she was attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City to make the request, according to Andrew Warren – one of Kennedy’s regular friends featured in her party pics. Warren told DuJour magazine that Kennedy was just trying to “have fun” with the account.
“If people have something negative to say, we’re not asking them to follow in the first place,” he said.
“I’m a mess but I make it look so good” Kennedy writes on Instagram for her bio, sharing photos of herself and her socialite friends at clubs and fashion events. In the caption for one photo Kennedy writes “Caviar, Gold Flake Champagne, & Cocaine only.”
Her party focused lifestyle was already well known, having made the news in March when she tried to sneak into a club with someone else’s ID, according to the Daily Mail Online.
“I am a Kennedy, Google me!” she reportedly screamed when the club turned her away. The 19-year-old threw the tantrum after being caught trying to use her half-sister’s passport as an ID, but forgetting 26-year-old Kick Kennedy’s birth date. The she tried to look it up on Wikipedia.
As of Wednesday morning, many of the revealing photos remained on Kennedy’s Instagram account, making it possible for anyone with an Internet connection to take a peek at her raucous lifestyle.
But, she is a Kennedy. And Kennedys aren’t generally known for openly broadcasting their inappropriate behavior. (Mary Jo Kopechne could not be reached for comment.)
