BAM! Fiorina wins ‘hormonal’ president argument with one perfect illustration

Carly Fiorina enjoys making political hay as the only woman running for the Republican presidential nomination, especially when it comes to hormones.

The head of a Dallas marketing firm, Cheryl Rios, made headlines last April with her claim that a female should not be president, writing “with the hormones we have there is no way we should be able to start a war,” and that the presidency “should be left to a man, a good, strong, honorable man.”

Fiorina used her stump speech in Iowa Monday to turn the tables on that kind of thinking.

“Can we think of a single instance where a man’s judgment could have been clouded by his hormones?” she asked the approving crowd, in a swipe at Bill Clinton’s sexual misadventures in the White House.

Fiorina has made solid progress in recent polls, climbing into the top tier of candidates after her stellar performance in the “second tier” GOP debate earlier this month.
