The Black Lives Matter movement is on a warpath and is becoming a real thorn in the side of the political party that fueled their fury.
Unlike the recent spectacle when Black Lives Matter protesters interrupted a Bernie Sanders campaign event, this heated exchange between Hillary Clinton and BLM protesters went down behind closed doors.
The protesters challenged Clinton to explain the racial injustice in America. They also accused her of flip flopping on the issue of mass incarceration, bringing up Clinton’s 1990 stance of calling for stricter sentencing terms.
One protester told Clinton that America’s problems stem from a “white problem of violence.”
“If you don’t tell black people what we need to do, then we won’t tell you all what to do. What I mean to say is, this is and has always been a white problem of violence. there’s not much that we can do to stop the violence against us,” he said.
Clinton left the exchange with the longwinded platitude that only those in the government can change the laws to promote change. She encouraged the BLM protesters to keep at their hard work.
That didn’t sit well with them.
