A wounded warrior proposed to his girlfriend in a most memorable way, with a little help from two military loving former presidents.
Former President George H.W. Bush posted a picture to his Twitter page Monday of Army Specialist Tyler Jeffries popping the question to his girlfriend Lauren Lilly while his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush and his son, former President George W. Bush, looked on at the Bush family home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Jeffries, who lost both of his legs in a roadside IED bombing in Afghanistan in 2012, got on his knees to propose with help from two friends who held him under each arm.
The couple was there as part of an event for wounded warriors, the Houston Chronicle reported.
