Clinton sticks her nose into Trump vs Kelly war; guess whose side she’s on?

clinton artCould Hillary Clinton and Megyn Kelly be new “besties” in the making, or is Clinton just trying to reinvigorate the tired War on Women mantra?

During a campaign stop in New Hampshire on Monday, Clinton addressed the press about a myriad of issues, but came back to Donald Trump and his feud with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly.

“What Donald Trump said about Megyn Kelly is outrageous,” Clinton said.

“Megyn Kelly is a strong woman and more than capable of defending herself against Donald Trump.”

Clinton is a little late to the political pulpit to rescue Kelly.

Kelly said on Sunday, that she’s a “big girl” and can handle the harsh criticism by some conservatives, and Trump in particular, over her performance moderating last week’s Republican debate.

Kelly told her sizable viewing audience on “The Kelly File” Monday, that it’s time for everyone to move on.

That could be bad news for Clinton who seems eager to capitalize on the public battle.

“I’m worried about what Republican policies would do to the rest of America’s women,” Clinton warned.

“If you just focus on maybe the biggest showman on the stage, you lose the thread here.”

Clinton is using that “thread,” as she call it, to try and tie all Republicans in with Trump’s rhetoric.

“The thread is, that the Republicans are putting forth some very radical and offensive positions when it comes to women’s lives.”

Clinton capped off her GOP digs by doubling down on her dissaproval of Trump.

“I think that he went way overboard, offensive, outrageous, pick your adjective,” she said.
