Hillary’s top challenger never knew what hit him.
When Black Lives Matter protesters stormed the stage where he was speaking Saturday, uber-liberal Democratic presidential candidate and avowed socialist Bernie Sanders got a good look at what happens when his own progressive agenda is taken to extremes.
The Vermont senator was the final speaker at a Seattle celebration for the 80th anniversary of Social Security Saturday.
“Thank you, Seattle, for being one of the most progressive cities in the United States of America,” was the only thing of substance Sanders was able to say. It was total chaos after that when the stage was taken over by two Black Lives Matter activists, according to KIRO-TV Seattle.
The protesters had a different agenda. They weren’t interested in Social Security. They wanted to turn the event into a recognition of Sunday being the one-year anniversary of the Michael Brown shooting.
And they were none too polite about it. They weren’t masking a request — they were screaming a demand.
“If you do not listen to her, your event will be shut down, right now!” a protester said on the stage.
The Brown shooting, in Ferguson, Missouri, involved a black man shot by a white cop in which both grand jury and Department of Justice investigations found the officer blameless.
But that truth was lost long ago in the Black Lives Matter furor.

Later Saturday, Sanders released a statement to the media, that still tried to pander to the radicals.
“I am disappointed that two people disrupted a rally attended by thousands at which I was invited to speak about fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare,” the statement said. “I was especially disappointed because on criminal justice reform and the need to fight racism there is no other candidate for president who will fight harder than me.”
