Dr. Ben Carson nailed his closing statement at Thursday’s Republican presidential debate.
The famed neurosurgeon and 2016 Republican presidential hopeful stylishly reminded everyone that he is not part of the political class.
“I’m the only one to separate Siamese twins,” Carson said, “the only one to operate on babies while they were still in the mother’s womb, the only one to take out half of a brain – although you would think, if you go to Washington, someone had beaten me to it.”
The line drew a big laugh from the audience.
