There is no breaking up the bromance between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz as Megyn Kelly found out.
On “The Kelly File” Tuesday night, the Fox News host first asked Cruz if he and Trump struck a deal in which the two wouldn’t criticize each other. Cruz denied that they had.
“There was no deal,” he told Kelly, praising Trump for “shining a light on the problem of illegal immigration.”
“Why would you be better than he is?” Kelly asked. “If you like him so much why don’t you get out and let him run?”
Cruz didn’t miss a beat, seamlessly offering a response that still didn’t include any attack on Trump.
Nice try, Megyn.
