Hulk Hogan asks why it’s OK for President Obama to use N-word without being vilified

Hulk Hogan might want to stay away from social media for a while.

Hogan has been active on Twitter following his termination from World Wrestling Entertainment, which also scrubbed him from its history, website and removed him from the Hall of Fame, after it was revealed he used the N-word in a racial tirade eight years ago on a secretly recorded sex tape.

“The Hulkster” has retweeted messages of support from celebrities and non-celebrities alike, but might have made a misstep when he retweeted a tweet from a fan who asked why it was OK for President Obama to use the n-word but not Hogan.

“Bi-racial President Obama uses N word, is applauded and keep his job. @HulkHogan uses N word, is vilified and loses his job,” @wolfsheadonline wrote.

While it’s a true they both used the word in different contexts, the question itself is valid. It is doubtful that even if Hogan used the word in the same context as the president he would have avoided being scorched just the same.

But retweeting anything that can be even remotely deemed controversial is a bad idea while the liberal jackals smell blood and are looking for any reason to pounce.

Hogan also may want to seriously check some of the other tweets he is retweeting as people have duped him by sending him pictures of celebrities and athletes, like the UK’s Arsenal football team, purporting to support him but the pictures and the accounts they are sent from do not correlate.

Hogan has his defenders — such as ESPN contrarian Stephen A. Smith, who posted a tweet questioning why WWE got rid of its most recognizable star so quickly when Hogan is essentially a creation of the wrestling world.

But he was scorched elswhere in the Twitterverse for his retweet of the Obama comparison as well as others.
